A book launch party for ‘A Practitioner’s Guide to Maritime Boundary Delimitation’ was held in the grand surroundings of the Locarno Suite in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on June 9th, 2016. Introductions were made by the FCO legal adviser Doug Wilson, and OUP editor Meral ALSTEIN, with comments by authors Stephen Fietta and Robin Cleverly. A short debate, chaired by Judge Stephen Schwebel, discussed ‘Is equidistance dead?’ Introduced by Robin Cleverly, Professor Alex Oude Elferink proposed the motion, opposed by co-author Stephen Fietta.
Over 130 attendees which included lawyers, diplomats, friends and family then enjoyed champagne and canapés.
